Voter Engagement
We believe everyone deserves a stronger voice in our democracy—both as voters and as leaders. Through voter registration, community engagement, and education, we empower Michiganders to take action and shape their future.
Our work goes beyond elections. We host forums, food drives, and workshops to create spaces for learning and connection. We partner with community leaders and elected officials to advocate for policies that uplift and empower our diverse communities. In 2022, our collaborative efforts helped pass Proposal 2, a vital step in expanding voting accessibility and protecting democratic rights.
Michigan’s Asian and Pacific Islander American (APIA) community is beautifully diverse, representing dozens of countries and speaking more than 30 languages. We understand the importance of meeting people where they are—whether it’s in a mosque, at a school, at a car show, or over a shared meal at a local restaurant. Our engagement efforts reflect this understanding, and, together, we’re building a future where every voice is heard and every vote counts.

This year, our dedicated efforts made a difference:
21,543 new voters registered, strengthening the foundation of civic participation.
20,238 doors knocked, bringing conversations about democracy directly to neighborhoods.
267,000 texts sent and nearly 1.5 million phone calls made to mobilize voters across Michigan.
